Help & sourcing FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers for wholesale and OEM buyers — MOQ, sampling, lead times, OEM/ODM, certifications and shipping for stainless steel cookware sourced from Potobelo.
Ordering, MOQ & terms
Do you sell to individual consumers?
Potobelo serves wholesale, OEM and distribution clients only. For retail purchases, please contact an authorized distributor in your country. If you are a business buyer, send us your market and volumes and we will reply with the next steps.
What is the minimum order quantity?
MOQ starts from 1,200 pcs per model, and the final figure depends on the model, finish, packaging and certification requirements. We sample first, in 7–10 days, before any production commitment.
Which Incoterms and payment terms do you offer?
We ship FOB, CIF or DDP depending on your destination and preference. Exact payment terms are agreed per order — share your target market and volumes and we will confirm them in our first reply.
Can I combine different products in one container?
Mixed-product containers can usually be arranged across our cookware range — kettles, saucepans, casseroles, steamers and pressure cookers. The workable mix depends on your selected models and quantities, and we confirm it when scoping your order.
Samples & lead time
What are your lead times?
Sampling is 7–10 days; standard production is 30–50 working days from confirmation. Urgent schedules can be discussed per project.
Can I get a sample before placing a bulk order?
Yes — we sample first. Sampling takes 7–10 days and the sample is couriered worldwide. Sampling and tooling costs are quoted per project and confirmed before any work begins, so you approve the sample before committing to production.
Can I use my own drawings?
Yes. Provide your own 2D or 3D drawings and our engineers will review them for manufacturability and suggest improvements before sample making.
Quality & compliance
Will mass production match the sample?
Yes. Mass production uses the same materials, processes and equipment as the approved sample, and finished goods are inspected against that reference sample before shipment.
Can you meet our market’s compliance requirements?
We coordinate FDA, LFGB, CE, GS and region-specific testing (such as SASO/SABER) for your target market and category, alongside our company-wide ISO and BSCI certification.
Which cooktops do your products work on?
Most models run on gas, induction, ceramic and electric cooktops — the impact-bonded composite base is built to conduct evenly across all four. Compatibility is confirmed per model when we quote.
Do you provide after-sales support?
Yes. We provide technical support and maintenance guidance for OEM and ODM projects; specific after-sales terms are agreed per order.
Customization — OEM & ODM
What is the difference between OEM and ODM?
With OEM we manufacture to your own spec, drawing or reference sample. With ODM you start from our developed designs and existing tooling, then customize the finish, handle, lid, packaging and logo for your brand. Many buyers combine both.
What can be customized on the cookware?
Logo, color and finish, handle material, lid type, capacity and set configuration, and packaging — all supported by in-house tooling and 300+ patents in cookware structures.
